Sid Vicious American Staffordshire Terrier Adult Male in Princeton, Minnesota

My story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Hello and thank you for your interest in Sid Vicious! Luckily this sweet guy isn't like his name sake. Sid was brought up to Minnesota from a southern shelter and was housed in a local shelter here until coming to his current foster home. Sid was scared and anxious in the shelter but has quickly started making himself at home. By the looks of it Sid does not have much experience with indoor living. He first thought ceiling fans were scary, mirrors and reflections in the window used to startle him (until he realized it wasn't someone outside), and he had no idea what a couch was or that you could lie down on one. Even with all these new elements Sid is loving life. He is feeling better after coming into the shelter with parasites, heartworm, and Canine Influenza and seems to come out of his shell more and more each day. Although Sid is potty trained, we are working on teaching him how to let us know he needs to go out. He has started going to the door to be let out, and we haven't had any accidents in the home in quite some time. He sleeps in his kennel and keeps it clean as well! He does bark for a few minutes when in his kennel so an apartment might not be the best place for him. He absolutely LOVES toys and the softer the better. He will kill a squeaker in record time and is a huge chewer. Lots and lots of toys for this guy. Overall, Sid is outgoing, sweet, eager to learn (treats help!) and just wants to be near his people. He is enjoying his second chance at life every single day. If you are looking for a gorgeous dog that is up for anything Sid might be your guy!
