Hi my name is Lyle! I am new here in town and so far I like it very much! I have a place to stay and a new dog friend to keep me company and play with!  My foster mom has spent a lot of time with me since I have arrived and I love the attention a lot! I have taken some rides in the car and it was fun! I am really good at going outside to go potty-I think it is a good idea!
I have a nice new kennel that I am settling into nicely. I get a treat every time I go in, so I like to go in there now! I am a very gentle guy and sometimes a little leery and cautious of new things. I really cant tell my foster mom much about my life before I came here because I was called a stray, but we are figuring it out as we go! She calls me a fool for love because all I want is someone to pet me and to snuggle up with! I crawl up on the couch with her and crawl right under her hands so he HAS to pet me I am not jumpy, I can sit when I am asked (cuz I usually get a treat!) I sit before I get my breakfast and dinner like a proper gentleman, because that is what I am learning to be!
I like to go on walks with my new best dog friend and she is showing me how to play with toys and we like to wrestle around and play-not too rough of course! Foster mom says I am young but I am smart, I am a quick learner and a good listener! If I am doing something I shouldnt (cuz Im just learning!) she tells me no and I stop and listen! I would love to meet you and be part of a forever family-I think that sounds like a place where I would want to be!!

All Ruff Start dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, dewormed, and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm prevention (dogs) as well as heartworm tested (dogs).
Ruff Start Rescue is a foster based rescue. Animals are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a facility where animals are kept.
