Well Hello! Im Britta, but Id prefer if youd call me Minnie. What can I tell you about myself?  As you already know - Im a beautiful little lady with soft, bright eyes and fancy ears. But theres so much more than a pretty face here. First of all, Im a baby, a pretty, princess baby, but with enough sass to make me loveable. I enjoy my kennel (a girl needs her beauty rest and a little me time), I like to play with toys. I like being outside and exploring, but indoors, on a lap is my real favorite place. I like other dogs. I NEVER EVER bark. Its just not my thing. I occasionally whine a little, but barking is so last year.
Ok, now that youve heard all of the wonderful things about me, my foster mother mom says I need to be a little humble. I am a little nervous outside and if given an opportunity, I take it upon myself to explore alone. My foster mom says I need someone who understand shy dogs, I don't mean to be shy, but I lived on the streets for a long time. I don't like to be doing things on my mom's time, just my own time! I will need a fenced in yard if I get to live in a house or very least a harness and leash at all times when outdoors. Full disclosure, I have recently completed treatment for heartworm.  Heartworm is not a contagious disease and I should go on to live a long and happy life.  I will need to be retested in 6 months to ensure that all the worms and eggs have left my body.
And the very last, teeny tiny not-so-awesome thing about me is I get really excited sometimes when Im playing and play bite. I do not bite hard and I NEVER do it aggressively, but I may scare little kids by this so older kids would be a better fit for me. My excited play time usually only lasts a few minutes, then its back to my normal chill, beautiful girly-girl self. Mostly Im happy and curious and super loving.
